In this portrait photoshoot, I’m using the new Canon RF35mm F1.4 L VCM Hybrid Auto Focus Lens and Canon R6 Mark II camera body to capture summer-style portraits. This latest L-Series lens features an iris ring for manual iris control during video capture, a Nano USM for floating focus, and a Voice Coil Motor (VCM) for rear focus, allowing for quiet, high-speed actuation—ideal for video. Its improved durability and weather-resistant construction ensure reliability in harsh environments, while minimal focus breathing and Air Sphere Coating (ASC) significantly reduce lens ghosting and flare.
