How To Make AC Ice Cold, Recharge air, and Force the Compressor Clutch to Engage
Watch this video to learn how to make your air ICE COLD, if you want to recharge your air, or if you want to know to to force the compressor clutch to engage!
Basically when you are low on freon (134a), you have low pressure. You cannot just loose the refrigerant, their has to be a leak. So when you recharge it, make sure you use a bottle of leak stop as well.
Here is a link the same recharging hose i used (it can also check your pressure, do not buy a hose that cannot cheack pressure levels):

Here's a link to the refrigerant (use at least 2 bottles):

and here's a link to the leak stopper (1 or 2 bottles):

Sometimes, when you want to recharge your AC, your compressor will not turn on. This is because the PCM senses low pressure and it will not let the compressor turn on. Watch this video to see how to bypass the relay switch and engage the compressor clutch.
You want to get between 30-50psi to have a good air conditioning system. 40 psi is right on the money. If you recharge your air and use a bottle of leak stop and the pressure goes back down, you have a leak probably in an o-ring, so take it to a mechanic.
The steps for this car are the same on ALL F-BODY cars (camaros and firebirds) and will be VERY SIMILAR for all other vehicles.
