South Park made a strong return with the first hour long special installment in the series, The Pandemic Special. Tackling all the insanity of coronavirus, social distancing, the impact of quarantine and other insane 2020 topics, this felt like a return to form for Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny. While Randy and Tegridy Farms felt like a joke that lost its charm a while ago, they even managed to give him an entertaining subplot with Disney, Mickey Mouse, and a strange COVID-19 cure! Let's discuss not just this special, but why this format works for the future of the series!
