Peregrine Falcon hunting a Sandpiper in Galway

I recently visited a place called 'Caranavoodaun' in county Galway to do some birdwatching as some birders had seen a few rarer species of waders such as Little Ringed Plovers, Green Sandpipers and Wood Sandpipers. After arriving on one sunny evening, I spotted a Peregrine fly in and perch on a tree. She waited (female I think) for about 10 minutes before going for a sandpiper. Her attempt wasn't successful (luckily for the Sandpiper). It was nice to see though. I filmed it handheld on the R5 with the RF 800 lens.
