There are so many options to stay in Japan as a tourist. You can stay in traditional ryokan which sometimes will have private onsen & include kaiseki dinner, 3-5 stars hotel and budget friendly capsule hotel 🏨 Hotel rooms in Japan are tiny so make sure to check the size if the room, size DOES matter in Japan.

Of course you’ll have options of airbnb or any long term accommodation which tend to be cheaper. Remember to check the room size, it’s worth to upgrade for extra dollar so you can at least open your luggage!

We stayed at Agora Hotel in Ginza Tokyo at the end of Jan. Nick stayed at capsule hotels: The Millennials Kyoto and First Cabin Umeda in Osaka.

Everytime we visit Japan, we’ll stay in different hotels depending on the deals. Also, 3 stars hotel in Japan are so clean with good service, just make sure to check the room size!
