Sunni Mahal Federation leader Aslam Mashhoor Thangal said that P. K. Kunhalikutty should become the Chief Minister when the election results are announced. He made this remark while Kunhalikutty was seated on the stage at the SMF Golden Jubilee declaration event held at Darul Huda in Chemmad. Senior Muslim League leaders, including State President Panakkad Sadiq Ali Thangal, were also present on the stage.
