yourtown Prize Homes x Davey Constructions: Tallebudgera Valley Project II

Our Tallebudgera Valley Prize home Project II is the latest lottery home we have built for yourtown Prize Homes. This modern barn style home project was designed by MRA Design, located on the Sunshine Coast. This four-bedroom home features off form concrete walls, polished concrete floors, Abodo timber cladding and a cohesive dark palette throughout. Situated out on acreage in Tallebudgera Valley the home backs onto the Tallebudgera Creek itself, which offers an immense sense of serenity.

Internally the project comprises of high-pitched ceilings reaching heights of over 5m with large raked gable windows. This expansive glass usage allows natural light to filter through the space creating great warmth in in contrast to home’s dark interior and exterior. Interior finishes include high-end plumbing fixtures and fittings from Reece, exposed black beams, Fisher and Paykel kitchen appliances and a striking suspended fireplace. The contemporary kitchen has been created with an all-black palette that uses ‘absolutte matte black’ Laminex cabinetry, which uses a new technology to prevents finger-marks from showing. A ‘Nero black’ Laminan Ossida ceramic Kitchen bench top was used with a 12mm thickness to deliver a slimline minimalistic feel.

The true hero of this prize home is the showstopping off form concrete pillars, which help to support the high-pitched roof in the main living, dining and kitchen space. Sprawled across acreage this home is nothing short of spectacular and we are excited to share it with you.
