It's pretty hard to physically distance yourself at a club, so it should come as no shock that the Covid-19 pandemic has the nightlife industry struggling, with many nightclubs at risk of closing down permanently.
But statistics show nightlife venues were already on the decline before anyone had heard of the coronavirus.
