Malakas being named, first named storm of 2022 WPAC season

05W have been upgraded to tropical storm Malakas early this morning, became the first named system of 2022 Pacific typhoon season. It is now coalescing into a compact system. Chance for RI is slowly diminishing as it moving NW towards cooler waters at a slight pace.
