Brother Surprises Sister at Air Force Basic Training Graduation

13 July 2017 - Lackland Air Force Base -

It is tradition after the graduation ceremony, going from "Trainee" to "Airman", to stand perfectly still, holding your military barring until your family or friends come and "tap you out". Until then, you can't laugh, smile, or even look around. (Oh, and try not to cry.)

My brother told me that he would NOT be able to come to my graduation. Right when I thought my Mom was about to tap me out, he showed up. I will never forget this moment and how magical it felt.
