The Myfordboy Stove Fan Part 5, Hot Cap

The stove fan is a Stirling cycle engine driving a fan to blow the hot air from a stove into the room.
If you think of the stove as a convector heater, the fan turns it into a fan heater.
The fan is placed on top of the stove and the heat will power the fan, no batteries, or electric connection, as long as the stove is hot the fan will run. The function is not to cool the room but to circulate the heat into the room.
The design has an antique look and can be built on a small lathe and mill.
Casting sets and plans will be available if you would like to build your own.
