THE BEATLES ASHRAM | Cave number 9 | RISHIKESH, INDIA
The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ashram, also known as BEATLES ASHRAM is located in a beautiful spot with the river Ganga flowing quietly behind it.
In the late 1960's, The Beatles' studied Transcendental Meditation here under the Guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
They are said to have WRITTEN 40 SONGS HERE during thier stay here in the ashram.
Hollywood biggies used to frequent this ashram in the late 1960's.
