The IDEAL camp & waterhole at Punda Maria // Kruger National Park

We've done a fair amount of milage by this point in our Kruger trip. The Plan was always to aim for Punda Maria, the Northern most camp. There are a few reasons for this as we are sure you'll unveil each one while watching our this and our next two vlogs. To name but a few, the campsite along the fence is situated right next to a watering hole and a bird hide making for astounding viewing from the comfort of our mattress. The North of the Kruger has got both fewer animals and TOURISTS in it compared to the South. However, the fewer animals in the area is made up for by the abundance of bird life, especially Pafuri area. Only the true all round nature lovers will be seen up here as the aim of the day is not to find the Big Five but to delve deeper into the marvellous nature and all else this varying landscape has to offer.
