Top Paint: Applying the Top Coat

This is applying the first coat of the Awlgrip top coat paint. I dip the roller and roll off the excess in the paint tray nothing will drip off it. Then start with light pressure against the hull to prevent squeezing drips out of the roller. Make multiple passes, starting off light to prevent drips, then medium pressure as the roller dries out. Make a few more passes over the area you have just done with lighter and lighter pressure until the final pass. The last pass is to knock down any bubbles so you don't have to tip. Use very light pressure and go slow to prevent bringing up new bubbles. Make a final pass at the wet edge to ensure it is completely flat.
