SO MUCH better than store-bought.

Not just saying this. My siblings hate store-bought fruit cake but LOVED this one.

And I’m sharing the recipe!

Here’s what you’ll need:

2 (16 oz) containers fruit cake mix (32 oz total)
1 (16 oz) container sunripe candied red cherries
1 (16 oz) container sunripe candied green cherries
1 (16 oz) container sunripe candied pineapples
2 cups raisins
1 cup dates
1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 1/3 cup orange juice (store bought)

3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp all spice
1/2 cup vegetable oil
6 eggs

1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped walnuts
