Vrachos (Loutsa) beach, Greece

Vrachos and Loutsa are actually the same beach, located 32 km from the town of Preveza and 30 km from Parga. The beach is 3,5 km long, and in some parts it's wide over 50 m. Northern part of the beach is called Loutsa, and Vrachos is on the left, southern part of the beach. The beach with its crystal clear water and green landscapes is the right place for lovers of true rest and relaxation with waves, no loud music and big crowds. It is ideal for families with small children and possibly couples. There are showers and changing rooms on the beach. Along the beach there is a street with wide sidewalks for walking. Street hasn't much traffic, but across the street are lined up villas and hotels, which almost all have a store in the ground, either it's a tavern, cafe or a shop. Parking is available along the street and there is always space. The seaside promenade is beautifully decorated with a nice garden cafes and restaurants, with many flowers and palm trees. If you want more activity, crowd, evening walks, shopping and other contents, you could visit Preveza and Parga. The region of Vrachos (Loutsa) and the surrounding areas have many historical monuments and natural beauty areas. You could go on your own to the stunning river Acheron and along the way, you could visit Nekromantion (ancient sanctuary dedicated to the God of the underworld, Hades).
