Will to live: Horse starting recovery from near starvation

Lex has been starving. The Chilton County Sheriff Department animal control and safety officer pulled this horse and another and brought them to Easterwood Equine for medical attention, which was sponsored by Two by Two Rescue, before he comes to Triple D Ranch and Farm to recover and live. .

Dr. David Dyson narrates Sonya Zorn King feeding Lex--and he is hungry! He is 200-300 pounds under weight. Today he begins his return to health and happiness.

Update 2021: Lex has gained almost 300 pounds and has healed. A new nonprofit program called Compassion Ranch is raising funds to feed Lex and 30 more animals.
