Victoria Langley

We are delighted to be here today to honor Victoria Langley with a $1,000 scholarship for her outstanding achievements as our Texoma Excellence in Fine Arts Scholarship winner.

Victoria has dedicated seven years to her passion for music, excelling as a trumpet player and leader in the Durant Band Program. She has earned Superior ratings at the OSSAA District and State Solo and Ensemble Contests for the past three years and has been a member of the Southeastern Oklahoma Band Directors Association All-District Band for five years. Her talent and dedication also earned her a place in the Oklahoma Music Educators Association All-State auditions three times.

Beyond her personal achievements, Victoria has demonstrated exceptional leadership as a two-year drum major for the Pride of Durant. Last summer, she was recognized with the Texoma Marching Arts and Leadership Academy Outstanding Drum Major Award. She leads by example, showing younger students the importance of preparation, discipline, and perseverance.

Victoria’s positive impact extends beyond music. She is admired by her peers and teachers for her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence. She was even honored as Homecoming Queen this fall, a testament to her outstanding character and influence within her school and community.

Looking ahead, Victoria plans to attend the University of Oklahoma, where she will audition for the Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band. With her passion, dedication, and leadership, we have no doubt that she will continue to make a lasting impact in both music and beyond.
