Wood Turning a Silver Vase

This piece of driftwood was a bit of a challenge to woodturn into a vase. Even after I cast it in resin, it had lots of holes and gaps so I had to add some 4 minute epoxy to fill them in. In the end I think it was a happy mistake, as I really like the way the gold contrasts with the silver resin.
