‘Extremely troubling’: American campuses face ‘toxic time’ during Israel-Hamas war
Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer reveals the “extremely troubling” experience he faced when he was mobbed by pro-Palestine protesters while speaking at a US university.
“This is obviously a very, very toxic time on American university campuses right now,” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“I can personally tell you and the audience I am certainly not going to shut up, I am certainly not going to stop going to campuses that invite me to talk and try to spread the truth.
“It really is in times like this when darkness is ascendent when fiction and falsehoods are pervasive.
“This is the moment where it calls on people like us who stand for the truth and to shout it as loudly from the hilltops as we possibly can.”
