For Artist, Activist, and Community Event Producer, Corinne Loperfido, it was the combination of a dad with the motto, “if it’s free it’s for me,” a friend who said, “who needs a man when you have a van?” and a teacher who asked her, “what are you willing to risk?” to protect the environment, that led to a life-changing “aha” moment. Two years ago, Corinne radically changed her existence when she moved into a van and began living a zero-waste lifestyle, buying essentially nothing that couldn’t be returned to the earth (besides the fuel that she uses as efficiently as possible).
