As a young woman, Jennifer Walters went to law school and quickly rose through the ranks to become top of her class. Later, she was made into the She-Hulk as a result of a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner (aka the Hulk). Fearing attention, she settled into a lowkey job as a law professor before her true calling, crime-fighting, took hold.
