Art Journal Session BYO music | The Sketchbook Project Session 2 🦋 Shanouki Art 🦋🖌🖍

I signed up to be a part of a community of artists who are taking part in one of the most unique and accessible creative collaborations in the world., the Sketchbook Project.
The Sketchbook Project is the worlds largest collection of artist sketchbooks that are kept at the Brooklyn Art Library.

For this series of videos, I am doing them a little differently. I will film each page that I create for this project and edit it to 3x speed. I will leave the video in silence. No talking. No music. If you are going to watch the video/s I want to encourage you to BYO (bring your own) music or podcost to listen to while you watch.
I am keeping the pages simple and not too chunky as the book is not allowed to be thicker than 1 inch once complete and I can get rather carried away with creating texture, so I must control myself. Once completed my book will be also available in digital format.

The Products I have used in this project:
cardstock/papers for collage
mod podge (for pasting down the collage pieces)
gesso (all the white I use is gesso)
water colour pencils
black acrylic paint
craft glue
butterfly sticker
project life card for quote
