How to NOT cleaning the oily aperture assembly in a lens
How to NOT cleaning the oily aperture assembly in a lens, and In this case it's an old Non-Ai Nikkor-S AUTO 50mm 1:1.4.
Maybe I should say, how to NOT flushin the oily aperture blades, simply flushin because it's not the best way to cleaning a lens with oil on the aperture blades.
If YOU can do it, it's much better to disassemble the whole aperture assembly, and in that way cleaning the blades and all the aperture parts with some Isopropylalcohol 99% ( 70-80% wil also work ).
Remember to set small marks before you disassemble it, just so you will know how to put it back in again!
