Here's how I created a kinky straight, blunt cut bob using...

1. X-pression kanekalon braiding hair (less than 1 pck)
2. Hair elastics/rubber bands (the soft ones)
3. A crochet needle

Did I mention I only spent $5?? And depending on your local beauty supply store, you may even spend less!

I know the video is long, but the tutorial lasts for less than 6 minutes...that's how quick and easy this style is.The last few minutes is just me going over some important details you may want to know.

Btw, my hair is natural, but in this video it had been flat ironed a week prior to the crochet install

I should have mentioned in the video, that when I searched to see if this style was already created, I found that there are videos with the rubber band technique! I just couldn't find if there are any with this kinky straight look.

FAQ

Q: How long does this style last?
A: I suggest leaving it in no longer than 2 weeks. I don't think it's good to leave your natural hair out any longer than that...don't want it getting dry

Q: Can this hair only be worn down?
A: It all depends on where you make your leave-out

Q: Do the elastics break?
A: Mine have not. But that is only because I doubled and trippled them

Q: Is your hair natural or relaxed?
A: I'm all natural baby!!!

Q: Can this style be done using different texture extensions?
A: Yes! Just make your hair match the texture of the extensions

Q: Will I be making more videos, showing different styles using this method?
