8 Month Baby Play Area Setup | Safe Space for Crawling & Movement

I felt like my baby needed a safe space to actually move, try, and figure things out on her own and honestly, I needed it too.

My daughter is 8 months old, and at this stage they don’t need more things, they need floor time, freedom to move, and the chance to try things by themselves. That’s how they learn to roll, sit, and slowly work their way towards crawling.

Without a safe space, you’re constantly stepping in, picking them up or moving things out of the way. So I created this little play corner in our living room where she can move freely, explore, and build confidence while I know she’s safe.

This play corner supports this stage and gives her the space she needs to get there on her own. What did you do at this stage with your baby?
