The Lightning is still not on the road, and the Power Tour is inching closer, so I need to find a plan B. It was time to dig my 2009 Pontiac G8 GXP six speed manual out of the storage building. It ran when parked; I thought it should be a quick fix. My first indication that this job was going south was pushing it into the shop. You might remember me driving it without the clutch since the slave cylinder died. I decided to do the clutch while I was there, and it was a wise choice. It also made sense to replace the driveshaft center bearing and now... a fuel pump. If we can get this all done this car will see the road for its first real drive in 5 years.
