Debian Linux on a $80 Android Tablet — Here's What Happened #Shorts

Debian Linux now runs on an $80 RK3562 tablet.

A developer named Tech4bot bought an $80 Android tablet with an RK3562 chip. Most people throw old tablets in a drawer. But this chip shares DNA with Rockchip's single-board computers — the ones hackers use for Linux projects. So Tech4bot pulled the bootloader, compiled a custom kernel, and flashed Debian straight to the hardware. And it actually works — touchscreen, Wi-Fi, everything. The entire process is documented on GitHub. No special tools. No vendor permission. Just a $80 tablet that now runs the same operating system as half the servers on the internet — because the hardware was always capable.
