In US news and current events today, Michigan lawmaker Cynthia Johnson received racist death threats in the wake of an election hearing with Rudy Guiliani.

In response, Johnson posted a video to her Facebook page. After Johnson posted the video, she was removed from her committee roles by House Republicans, who also warned of further punishment.
