El conocimiento situado: Inteligencias Colectivas at TEDxMadrid

Inteligencias Colectivas is an open network, an online free database which collects and taxonomizes informal constructive knowledge. The project has been registering non-standard technology and building prototypes evolving it in vulnerable contexts all around the world since the year 2010. Currently they are also building a large network composed by the experts in the techniques they register in each place they visit. In this talk, while the speaker explains the project, an other member of the team is bicycling, in order to generate the energy partially able to compensate the one used during the talk. An energy-generating bike is a great example of situated knowledge.In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
