Best (Kienyeji) Chicken Biriyani

You can make biryani is a myriad of ways. This is simply one way I make it.

Ingredient List

1 whole Road Runner (Kienyeji) Chicken cut into pieces
1 cup of maziwa Lala (buttermilk)
1 & 1/2 tbsps of garam masala
3 tbsps of garlic powder
1 tsp of cinnamon
3/4 tsp of tumeric
3/4 tsp of caradamom
1/2 tsp of black pepper
2 Bay leaves
1/2 tsp of red chilli (optional)
Salt To Taste
You'll also need
1 large onion sliced
4 tomatoes cubed
4 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp of tomato paste
Red & Yellow Food Colouring (for the rice)
