ALU Indecision - Plum Breadboard Computer

Hi, Sorry it's been a while since I've posted anything but work got busy, I was indecisive, and I wound up taking the ALU all the way round in a big circle. Now I'm just on my way back to square one.

Stops on the ALU's tour of my brain included:
- Saving the carry flag to enable long number arithmetic (Numbers greater than 255, thus requiring multiple bytes to store).
- The use of Constants (0x01 and 0xFF) to facilitate additional modes like:
-- INC (n ADD 0x01)
-- DEC (n SUB 0x01)
-- NOT (n XOR 0xFF).

The conclusion I reached was that it's not the ALU's responsibility to deal with these things, they're particular uses of the ALU and not additional modes because they can be achieved with what's already there and aren't providing anything new.
