Helping employees find high-value health care

Today the health care system is designed to pay for volume. But the system is changing and by working together, we can help accelerate that change. Employers and other health care purchasers are starting to demand value. Value in health care means high quality and a good patient experience at a fair price. Health care consumers should demand value, too. Employers who want to help employees find high-value health care can use materials from the Savvy Health Care Shopper campaign in their employee communications. The campaign includes a video, a series of infographics and a brochure for employers to use to help employees know how to get high-value health care.

The campaign was created through a partnership between Washington State Health Care Authority’s Healthier Washington initiative and the Washington Health Alliance.
