Welcome to the 3D Printing for Repair Guidance series, through these videos you will learn all of the steps necessary to generate 3D printable versions of the spare parts you need to repair your product. This collection of videos was possible thanks to a collaboration between the TU Delft and MMU (Manchester Metropolitan University) as part of the Sharepair project (https://www.nweurope.eu/projects/project-search/sharepair-digital-support-infrastructure-for-citizens-in-the-repair-economy/) from Interreg; which aims to decrease waste from electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) from consumer products by scaling up and supporting citizen repair initiatives through the use of digital tools. The tools target both consumers at home and more skilled repairers in repair communities (E.g. Repair café’s) and include: maps and guidance towards high-quality professional repair services, DIY Repair guidance, 3D printing for repair guidance, and a database of 3D-printing designs (open-source) for printing replacement parts, among others.
