Most Wanted Shoplifter Finally Arrested #Police #Crime

A routine shoplifting call quickly turned into a high priority manhunt after officers realized they were dealing with one of the area's most wanted retail theft suspects.

When store employees confronted the suspect, officers attempted to speak with him, but he suddenly took off running. As police gave chase, an alleged accomplice waiting in a nearby vehicle helped him escape the scene, forcing officers to call in additional units.

After an extensive search, police located a man matching the suspect's description and took him into custody. Authorities identified the suspects as 20 year old Ramon Gordon and 19 year old DeMarco Johnson.

According to investigators, the pair were linked to more than $20,000 worth of stolen merchandise from multiple retail stores across the state. Both were booked into the Henry County Jail and face multiple felony theft and burglary related charges.

The arrests marked the end of a retail theft investigation that had stretched across several jurisdictions and targeted numerous businesses.
