Taliban takeover resonates in poll-bound U.P, Yogi calls out group's 'shameless' supporters
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has slammed the Taliban supporters within India for hailing the insurgent group's takeover of the Afghanistan. While speaking in Uttar Pradesh Assembly today,Yogi said that those who support Taliban must be exposed before the society. Yogi's attack came days after a Samajwadi Party MP Shafiqur Rehman Barq equated Taliban's insurgency against U.S occupation with India's freedom struggle against British. U.P police have now booked Barq for spreading enmity. After Barq, a senior member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Maulana Sajjad Noumani, had also praised Taliban's takeover of Kabul.
