IS IT DANGEROUS TO SKI HERE? Mt Ruapehu - Whakapapa Ski Field North Island, New Zealand 🇳🇿

In today's episode, we are travelling from Tauranga to Mt Ruapehu for a day of skiing. Mt Ruapehu - Whakapapa is the biggest Ski field in New Zealand and it's extra spectacular as it is an active stratovolcano at the southern end of the Taupō Volcanic Zone and North Island volcanic plateau in New Zealand. The Tongariro National Park in which the mountain is located is definitely worth a visit! We recommend coming here in summer or winter but make sure to check the weather conditions beforehand as the weather can change quite quickly.
