Marxism and the Matrix

The Matrix has so many layers to it: religious layers, philosophical layers, technological layers. All of these have been discussed time and time again since it came out. However there isn't much discussion on the Matrix's association with the literary lens of Marxism. In this video I thought it would be good to explain Marxism and apply it to a classic sci fi film of the 1990s.
