Orange warning for rain has been issued for nine districts of Odisha and yellow warning for the same has been sounded over a total of 22 districts of the State. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the orange and yellow warnings for rain till 8.30 AM of May 1. Check the warnings of the weather department: Thunderstorm with lightning with gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph and Hailstorm, Heavy rainfall very likely to occur in the afternoon/evening hours at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nuapada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar.
