At its center stands the Kaaba, covered by the famous black cloth known as the Kiswah, which is replaced every year. One of the most meaningful rituals for pilgrims is walking around the Kaaba seven times, an act known as Tawaf, symbolizing unity and devotion to God.

Mecca is not just a physical location, but a powerful symbol of unity, equality, and faith. During the pilgrimage, people from all social and economic backgrounds wear simple clothing, removing visible differences and reminding believers that all humans are equal before God. This message of humility and brotherhood is one of the deepest reasons why Mecca holds such importance in Islam.
