BASIC SLIME TUTORIAL! Our secret slime recipe

This is our secret slime recipe for making basic slime! Our basic slimes are super stretchy, thick, creamy and clicky. I hope you enjoy the video and I hope that my voice isn’t too cringey ;)

You will need:

- 1 cup clear glue (white glue often smells bad?). You can buy any non-toxic clear glue from most stationery shops!

- ½ a cup of thick body cream (almost like body butter). You can also use conditioner instead of body cream for this step!

- For a less-thick slime, add about a ¼ cup of water! This is optional – we don’t add any water to our slime mixtures!

- 1 teaspoon of borax.

- 1 cup hot water.

- A large mixing bowl and spoon.

- Non-toxic acrylic paint.

- Decorations like foam beads and glitters!

- A sealable container to put your slime in after you’ve made it.

Making your activator:

- Mix 1 teaspoon of borax powder to 1 cup of hot water and stir until all the borax has been dissolved!

- You can then add this mixture to a squeeze bottle to allow for easy administration – but it’s completely up to you!

Instructions:

- Add the clear glue to the large mixing bowl.

- Add the cream and stir the mixture until everything is mixed well!

- You can then add water if you want to.

- Start adding little drops of activator solution to your glue and cream mixture.

- Now STIR LIKE CRAZY.

- The solution will start coming together and forming a blob of slime. Keep adding activator to adjust the stickiness of your blob until it feels perfect to you!

- Now you can decorate it as you like!
