The Story of Edgar Davids

The Dutch "Pitbull" was considered one of the great defensive midfielders in his prime. From Ajax to Italy to Spain to England, Davids saw success at European and domestic levels and received praise for his tireless work-rate and tenacious defending. Globally recognisable for his glasses while playing, he became a fan favourite, whose time at Barnet FC in lower-league English football proves he simply loved to play the game.
