I Swapped My RTX 5090 Astral to the Corsair XG5 Water Block and Tested Temps

Today I’m installing the Corsair XG5 RGB water block for the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 inside my Frost Version 4 custom water cooled PC build. This system is built inside the Corsair 9000D, packed with 34 Corsair fans, dual pump reservoir combos, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5, and an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D.

In this video, I unbox the Corsair XG5 RTX 5090 Astral water block, spray paint parts of it white to match the build, drain the loop, remove the old EKWB GPU water block, and install the new Corsair block. I also test GPU temperatures in Battlefield at 4K to compare the Corsair XG5 against the previous water block after the loop is heat soaked.
