Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler

A delicious fresh strawberry dessert. It's more like a strawberry cake with cream cheese, it tastes like warm strawberry shortcake. With some whipped cream and ice cream, you'll be in hog heaven!
Melt 1 stick of butter and pour into 9 x 13 dish.
Mix together:
1 egg lightly beaten
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
Pour the above well mixed ingredients on top of the butter in the casserole and DO NOT STIR
Wash and take the tops off 2 16oz of fresh strawberries and place them point side up in the casserole.
Take 4oz. of cream cheese and drop small portions over entire dessert, if you need to use more than 4oz. go ahead.
Bake at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes, let cool slightly and enjoy!!
