In this video I'll be taking a look at the MD200 from Boss. The MD200 is the ultimate modulation pedal. It has 12 different modulation types built in which all have a range of tweakable parameters and additional features.

The MD200 is pretty much the only modulation pedal you could ever need. It's for stereo in and out, MIDI functionality, 4 in built memory slots (Along with the option to expand this to 128 with MIDI), a tap tempo, different rhythmic sub divisions and loads of awesome tones.

You have everything from chorus to flanger to vibrato. There are also some classic tones in there such as a CE-1 Chorus mode, a Vintage Phaser based off the MXR Phase 90, a Leslie Rotary speaker and a Uni-Vibe sim.

For those looking to get a bit crazy the slicer mode creates choppy rhythmic sounds and the overtone mode transforms your guitar into an organ!

Some of the modes even have an additional feature to add fuzz or drive from within the pedal... pretty mad!

For the video I am using my Shergold Provocateur plugged into the Blackstar Studio 10 6L6. The amp is running totally clean for the video and it is mic'd up with a Lewitt Audio LCT440 mic.
