Uri: PoK National, Local Girl Detained; Cross-Border Love Affair Angle Suspected

A Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) national and a local girl were detained by Army personnel near the Silikote area of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday, sources said.
According to sources, the PoK national has been identified as Zeeshan Ahmad Mir, son of Lal Din Mir, a resident of Painkadi village in Muzaffarabad district of PoK. The local girl has been identified as Iram Bano, daughter of Abdul Majeed Mir, a resident of Tilawari in Uri.
Preliminary investigations suggest the duo may have been involved in a cross-border love affair, although officials said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still being verified. Both individuals are currently in the custody of the concerned Army unit
