Lectio Divina is a private devotion and while it's useful to do it in common it was originally designed to be a private experience or encounter with the scriptures.

This conference was given at the Lectio Divina Institute held on January 17-21, 1997 at the Benedictine Center in Beech Grove, Indiana. There were four presenters: Fr. Bruno Barnhart, Sr. Mary Margaret Funk, Fr. Thomas Keating and Gail Fitzpatrick-Hopler.
