Friends, if you're planning a road trip to Oman in your Loaned Car, from Dubai then just be cautious and check the formalities required to cross the border. As per the new rule if your is on loan, then you cannot cross the border of Dubai . We were not aware of this rule and planned all our hotel bookings, Dhow cruise bookings and headed towards Oman without knowing. But when we reached the Border and we asked to head back to Dubai and denied immigration checkout our dream to reach Oman were Shatter.

We already had made the booking of Dhow Cruise and Hotel and paid the money for around 16 people, so there was no option to go back. We spoke to our Hotel, but was no luck, luckily our Dhow organizer had some contacts and he managed to get a mini Bus for us to cross the border of Dubai to Oman. Well, this trip was a blessing in disguise for us as it gave us chance to travel together as we used to di traditionally in a single Bus, and we all had a blast of a trip.

We stayed in a wonderful and peaceful hotel, at Oman, Musandam.
