San Cha - Hecho en Casa Session in Los Angeles

The immensely talented, lovely and fearless performer we all know as @el_sancha visited La Banda Elastica casa / estudio to share with us a few selections from their latest record "La Luz de la Esperanza!".
In February of this year, San Cha presented selections from Luz de la Esperanza at Vibiana's, a 19th-century cathedral located in downtown Los Angeles. Chosen as the inaugural act of the Red Bull Music Academy, the show was a smashing success and continued to be the talk of the town for weeks afterward.
Visceral, dramatic and explosive, San Cha's performance went through a wide-ranging musical exploration, incorporating rancheras, cumbias and boleros, traditional Mexican musical genres that were resignified with contemporary musical arrangements by San Cha and their excellent backing musical ensemble.
Luz de la Esperanza premiered on October 25 on all digital platforms. With an operatic touch, blending art rock landscapes, sophisticated atmospheres and dreamlike coral arrangements, Luz de la Esperanza is a pleasure to listen from beginning to end.
