Signs and Symptoms of Neuromuscular Disorder - Laura K. Jacks, M.D.

The Pediatric Orthopaedic Symposium is designed to assist primary care physicians and emergency health care providers in delivering appropriate care to children with orthopaedic injuries or conditions requiring orthopaedic management. Caregivers need to properly identify and manage or refer orthopaedic conditions.

At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to:
1) Review possible signs of neuromuscular disorders in a child’s health history.
2) Discuss physical examination for identification of neuromuscular disorders.
3) Identify neurologic tests for identification of neuromuscular disorders.
